With a solid foundation in business law, our ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in commercial litigation, including antitrust, business disputes, securities issues, business torts, and breach of fiduciary duty. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases, providing you with the chance to make a real impact while honing your legal skills.Responsibilities:As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in our team, handling a wide range of commercial litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include:1. Drafting, reviewing, and filing pleadings, motions, and other court documents.2. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.3. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.4. Developing effective litigation strategies to resolve business disputes.5. Providing legal advice on antitrust laws, securities issues, business torts, and breach of fiduciary duty.6. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact clients.8. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless case management.Qualifications:1. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.2. Admission to the Texas State Bar.3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.4. Proven experience in drafting pleadings and motions.5. Extensive knowledge and understanding of business law, including antitrust, business disputes, securities issues, business torts, and/or breach of fiduciary duty is preferred.6. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.7. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.9.
