Full-Time Occupational Therapist - School-Based

Location:Colorado Springs, CO
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a difference in the lives of young students? An elementary school in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team for a year-round position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary school students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational and developmental needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and interventions.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
