Who You Are
Under limited direction, actively plans and develops programs for the growth, revitalization and utilization of land and/or existing physical structures for establishing quality of life standards for community residents. Collects and analyzes relevant economic, social, and physical factors to determine community needs and improvements.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award
What You’ll Do
As a Space Planner, you will:
Analyze space requirements and provide detailed space plans to optimize layouts.
Work closely with architectural and design teams to develop functional and efficient spaces.
Manage and coordinate moves, adds, and changes to office layouts.
Ensure all spaces meet health, safety, and organizational standards.
Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
5+ years of experience in space planning, facilities management or interior design.
Strong understanding of design principles and space optimization.
Proficient in CAD and other design software.
High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
