Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in Olathe, KS. This position requires RN licensure in the state of Kansas, current CPR certification, and recent TB test results. The RN will play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to students within a school setting, with the opportunity to choose between high school, middle school, or elementary caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and CPR if necessary.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to ensure student health needs are met effectively.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • CPR certification.
  • Recent TB test results (within the last year).
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
