Job Details:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School RN to join our team in the Newport, RI area for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, on-site position involves providing one-on-one care to a student, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to a student, including administering medication, monitoring health conditions, and responding to medical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create and implement individualized health care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for the student.
  • Educate the student and their family on managing health conditions and promoting overall well-being.
  • Ensure the student's safety and comfort in the school environment.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle medical emergencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
