Position Summary/Description:

The Pre-Admission Testing Nurse is responsible for completing pre-admission patient interviews, patient education, and nursing assessment according to anesthesia guidelines. The PAT RN works in collaboration with anesthesia providers, physicians, physician office personnel, and perioperative personnel. This position does not have call requirements.  

Position Requirements:

Complies with legal, hospital and departmental policies, procedures and position requirements. Must have an Associate degree in Nursing. Must have an AZ or Compact RN License. Must obtain the following certifications within 90 days of hire; CPR, ACLS and PALS.
