Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time): Yonkers, NY

Hours: 15 hours per week

Duration: Full School Year

Grade Levels: K-5

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Yonkers, NY, for the upcoming school year. This part-time position involves working with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, providing essential speech and language therapy services to support their communication and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and integrate therapy goals into their educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • New York State licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-5) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
