Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Leonard, Michigan

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Leonard, Michigan. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to students with communication disorders. This individual will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Michigan state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with school-aged children with speech and language disorders is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
