Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Scotts Valley, CA
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Scotts Valley, CA, for a full-time position covering a maternity leave. The assignment will begin in December 2024 and continue through June 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and evaluations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- California state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
