Our MAT will be run collaboratively between the Departments of Art & Design and Education. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate's area of expertise, maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels.For full consideration submit completed application by January 15, 2026. The coordinator position will have a 4/4 teaching load, and receive one course reduction per semester for MAT coordinator duties including student mentoring, recruitment, curriculum management, and community engagement. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels. Typical Allocation of Duties:Teaching and scholarship - 80%Teaches classes and conducts/presents research in the employee's academic discipline.Service - 20%Participates in service at the department, college, and university levels.Required Qualifications Terminal degree in Art Education (Ph. D. or Ed. D) or an MFA in Art Education with a terminal degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) by appointment date. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. Preferred Qualifications A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting. Knowledge of online/hybrid teaching and Learning Management Systems.
