Student Ambassador

St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, in the heart of growing St. Charles County. At St. Charles Community College, we have a passion for student success. We are seeking Part-time Student Assistant - Student Ambassador who will be responsible for representing and promoting SCC to prospective students, parents, and community constituents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Conduct guided campus tours for prospective students and their families.Meet and greet prospective students, parents, and community constituentsShare information about campus facilities, academic programs, and student lifeAssist with new student orientations by providing information and helping new students acclimate to the campusRepresent the college at recruitment events, college fairs, and high school visitsServe on student panels to provide a student perspective on various topics, including academics, campus culture, and student servicesPromote college events, achievements, and campus life through social media channelsActively contribute to creating a diverse and inclusive campus environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active enrollment at St. Charles Community College (+12 actively enrolled credit hours, +15 earned credit hours)Have a cumulative GPA of +3.2 preferred, minimum 3.0Have two total recommendation letters (one from faculty, the other can be from faculty or staff)No conduct issues within SCC. Conduct issues off campus can also affect eligibility for programActive involvement in a club or community organizationStrong Interpersonal skills
