Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess students' progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet their evolving needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Illinois state teaching certification in Special Education (SPED).
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and a strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
