Soliant has been engaged to find an inpatient pharmacy supervisor for a 150-bed hospital in Elkton, MD (zip code: 21921). We are seeking a temp-to-hire pharmacy supervisor for this role. The ideal candidate will be local and able to start ASAP, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position after approximately 13 weeks.

Position: Pharmacy Supervisor - Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Location: Elkton, MD 21921 Hospital Size: 150 beds Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Start Date: ASAP Position Details:
  • Maryland Licensure: Must be current and in hand to submit.
  • Travel/Mobility: Able to travel within 1 hour of the hospital location or willing to relocate for the contractual terms.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital experience and at least 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
  • Work Flexibility: Must be willing to cover day, evening, and midnight shifts as needed.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with Cerner, Pyxis, DoseEdge, McKesson, and controlled substance ordering, receiving, and maintaining. A clear background check is required.
  • Permanent Conversion: Seeking a candidate who is looking to convert from a temporary to a permanent position.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and references within the past year are required.
