Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to work with older students. Soliant has partnered with a school district near Olympiaand is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to help finish out the current school year.

Applicants will be working with a caseload of K-12 kids, althoughmost students are older, and are in self-contained/resource classrooms.Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Washington Speech-Language Pathology License

As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
