Soliant is working with a long-time client, a school district in Palmer, AK, and is seeking a travel contract SLPA.

Applicants will be working with a caseload of English Language Learners, spread across 2-4 buildings. Mileage reimbursement for travel between schools will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Alaska SLPA license (reimbursement available for application fee once candidate starts their assignment)
    • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
    • 100 hours of fieldwork, completed either as part of their university program, or independently

Scope of duties:

  • Under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, provide direct therapy to students
  • Document student progress and provide administrative support to Speech Pathologists
  • SLPAs may also be called upon to provide classroom support, or to facilitate the provision of online speech services
