About The Position
ID: 49094879 Shift: 10:30a-7p;10:30a-7p Description: offer made, leaving open until offer is accepted**Candidate will need significant Vascular experience and ability to scan high level Vascular work, such as: Hemodialysis(HD)access mappings, Venous Insufficiency Exams, and Arterial Exams following up Intervention.*****Start last week of June***NEW Rate- $95/hr (Effective 6/10)SHIFT- Predominantly Day shift with occasional 10:30a-7p Evening shift.and occasional weekends,- Holidays as needed- Call required-40 hrs per week*Ultrasound Tech/Sonography Certification required fromARRT or ARDMS*2 years experience required*Could care for Covid patients*Epic experience neededClinical Checklist*Do not submit local candidates to these travel positions. If candidate accepts the lower local rate, submit the profile which clearly notates candidate is local and aware local rates are lower.*As of 1/5/2022 all travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.**Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine, must be approved for a medical/religious exemption by their agencyThe Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
