Our intensive care unit atPiedmont Newton offers the following advanced therapeuticmodalities:

Targeted TemperatureManagement post-cardiac arrest

Invasive andNon-Invasive HemodynamicMonitoring

Hemodialysis

Managementof patients having or requiring:

Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA)

Sepsis andmulti-system organ failure

The critical care unit atPiedmont Newton uses:

Bedside reporthandoff at change of shift

Purposeful Roundingfor safety and service

Quality initiatives suchas pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention,infection prevention strategies for central lines and indwellingurinary catheters, etc.

Critical Care educatorto help address competency, onboarding, and learningneeds

Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursingprogram

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing programeligible

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License.
BLS certificationrequired.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year ofnursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Advancedcertification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
