Contract Duration: August 12, 2024 - May 30, 2025
Hours: 35 hours per week
Caseload/Details:
- K-12 caseload, district-wide
- Duties include completing effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), developing function-based interventions, and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Requires exceptional knowledge in the use of assessment and assessment data to inform instruction and prescribe work plans for individual students
Special Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License
- LBS1 Endorsement preferred
- Expert knowledge of techniques needed for FBAs, function-based interventions, and BIPs
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Danville, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position involves supporting K-12 students across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the functions of student behaviors
- Develop and implement function-based interventions and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and create individualized work plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to interventions and plans as needed
