Job Description:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our educational team in Western Springs, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. As a School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to address academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergency situations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-based meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on topics related to mental health and student well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working as a school psychologist or in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
