Job Posting: Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) - 2024-2025 School Year

Positions: 2 Speech-Language Pathologists (In-Person)
Location: Gassport & Medina, NY
Start Date: August 28, 2024
End Date: June 5, 2025
Hours: Full-Time, 7.5 hours per day, exclusive of lunch

Position 1: RHLC Gasport, NY

  • Start/End Times: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • Grades: K-5th
  • Classifications: ED, OHI, LD, SLI, MD, ID
  • Caseload: Approximately 20-23 students
  • Documentation: Daily documentation completed on Frontline, IEP Direct, using Related Service logs application. Responsibilities include quarterly progress summaries, annual reviews, and tri-annual evaluations.

Position 2: OLC Medina, NY

  • Start/End Times: 7:45 AM 3:15 PM
  • Grades: High School
  • Classifications: ED, ASD, SLI, MD
  • Caseload: Approximately 20-23 students
  • Documentation: Daily documentation completed on Frontline, IEP Direct, using Related Service logs application. Responsibilities include quarterly progress summaries, annual reviews, and tri-annual evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' developmental and educational needs.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Proficient in using Frontline, IEP Direct, and related service logs applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-person setting, as remote or virtual options are not available for these positions.
