Special Education Teacher

Position Overview:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional educational services to students with disabilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instruction tailored to each student's unique learning style and abilities.
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic and social growth.
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure the success of students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid California Special Education Teaching credential.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to providing high-quality education and support to students with special needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
