Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience: • Three years minimum technical or laboratory experience • Experience in materials testing including viscosity testing, melting point testing, and general laboratory testing • Knowledgeable in the use of laboratory equipment and instruments • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Computer literacy including MS Office • Strong attention to detail and adherence to documentation protocols • Proficiency in SAP for Quality Lab transactions Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience: • Prior experience in Quality Control • Experience supporting complaint investigations or validation activities Quality Specialist Overview: • The Quality Specialist plays a key role in ensuring product integrity, consistency, and compliance within the organization’s Quality Department. • This position is responsible for performing standardized testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods according to established specifications. • The role maintains accurate and complete documentation, supports calibration and validation of laboratory equipment, and follows Good Documentation Practices while recording data. • The Quality Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, assists Quality Engineers with investigations, and participates in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives. • The position also contributes to daily team meetings, helps support training within the laboratory, and maintains a clean and safe work environment while complying with all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements. • Through careful testing, documentation, and teamwork, this role upholds quality standards throughout the production process. Job Duties: • Perform standardized quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to specifications • Calculate and report test results accurately • Locate required test methods, SOPs, and work instructions in the document management system • Record test data in the SAP database • File, maintain, and dispose of retained samples according to retention protocols • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including lab benches, sample room, ovens, and hood • Participate in Quality Lab 5S activities • Participate in daily Quality Lab and department meetings • Complete, maintain, and control required quality records and documents in accordance with SOPs • Follow Good Documentation Practices when recording information • Perform and support validation and calibration of laboratory equipment • Assist Quality Engineers with complaint investigations and testing • Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and procedures • Support training efforts within the lab and maintain qualification status for assigned test methods • Perform SAP transactions related to Quality Lab functions **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered. ** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements. ** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
