School- Based Occupational Therapist

Soliant Health, a premier healthcare staffing company, is currently in search of a School-Based Occupational Therapist in the vicinity of Giddings, TX. This presents a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the educational environment, enriching the lives of students through essential occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to assess and cater to the distinct needs of each student
Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities
Deliver direct therapy services to students, either individually or in group settings, aligning with their educational objectives
Adapt classroom environments and suggest adaptive equipment or assistive technology as needed to facilitate students' engagement and success in academic and social activities
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and actively participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions

Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapist license
Masters Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Passion for working with children and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in a school-based setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
Ability to adjust therapy techniques and approaches based on the unique needs and abilities of each student
