Types of procedures required. Functions as an IR technologist ; assists Interventional radiologist, Vascular and Neurosurgeons2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)Siemens IR suite Artis and GE Angio 4400/ Knowledge of EPIC Radiant and Change HealthCare PACS3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.Seasoned Specials Tech with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT and BLS5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Day shift , work independently . rotating call 6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)Department has two IR suites in Main department and an EV and Hybrid suite in OR7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 290 bed hospital as above support 4 IR rooms8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) doesn t apply 9.Dress Code: scrubs provided 10.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. One on one training for two weeks and then work independently as a team memberComments: M-F rotating day off10 Hour shifts 0800-1800Weekend/Holiday call rotating - about 1 day per week.
