Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated and bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our educational team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of students' communication skills while working in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to students needs.
  • Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP, focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, and language enhancement.
  • Track and document student progress, providing regular updates and feedback to the SLP and relevant school staff.
  • Work with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting and support students overall communication development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay informed about best practices and new strategies in speech-language therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification in Arizona.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
  • Bilingual in English and [Second Language] is required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing documentation and tracking progress.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced educational environment.
