About Us:
Soliant Education is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for students and supporting their psychological well-being. We are seeking a licensed and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Westover, LA. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to provide critical psychological services to students across K-12th grades.
Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist with Soliant Education, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychological services within a K-12 setting. This includes conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators and families to support students' academic and emotional needs. Your role is key in helping students achieve their best in a supportive and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address and support students' needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to educational planning and decision-making.
- Offer crisis intervention and support when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid School Psychologist license in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and behavioral management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere.
