Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for an immediate opportunity within a reputable school district in Tallahassee, FL. This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence for the remainder of the school year.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational goals and developmental needs of students within the Tallahassee school district. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive occupational therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans.
  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and monitor progress.
  • Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for productive collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to assess individual student needs and adapt strategies to support their success within an educational context.
