Position Overview:We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and committed General Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is a contracted hourly role based in the area of the beautiful city of Alvin, Texas.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum expectations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote academic excellence.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
  • Communicate proactively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and academic goals through conferences, emails, and other means of communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification in the state of Texas.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and provide support for diverse learners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 2024-2025 school year
  • Hours: To be determined based on school schedule and needs
  • Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience
