Speech-Language Pathologist

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Rocklin, CA. In this role, you will work collaboratively with students, families, and educational staff to provide effective speech and language services to support students' communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students speech and language skills to determine eligibility for services and to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments, focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement IEP goals and promote communication skills in the classroom setting.
- Monitor and document students' progress toward their goals, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
- Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support communication development and facilitate carryover of skills in various environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student progress and program development.
- Stay updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
