Warehouse Logistics Manager

Job Summary:  

Tucker Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the Warehouse Logistics Manager. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day logistic operations of Tucker Mechanical.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Receive daily shipments, process inventory through the Service Management software
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies
  • Inventory of parts, material, and equipment designated for HVAC projects, repairs and maintenance services
  • Create daily/weekly/monthly delivery schedule based on customer needs and departmental demand
  • Coordinate transfers between Rocky Hill Office and Plainville Distribution Center
  • Process parts warranties and returns with vendors and manufactures
  • Assist warehouse driver with deliveries as required
  • Coordinate and schedule all job deliveries with the Driver, Management and Field team employees
  • Update notes in Service Management System (COINS)
  • Ordering and inventory control of Preventative Maintenance materials
  • Assist with the ordering of tools for new hires and/or new tool requirements
  • Refrigerant management, coordination, storage, inventory control, etc
  • Maintain, track, and secure tool inventory
  • Maintain, track, and assist with Cintas Uniform Program for entire field team
  • Shipping/receiving of parts, materials, equipment, etc.
  • Initiate and coordinate the return of unused parts and equipment to vendors
  • Create and pick tool lists for delivery to various job sites
  • Organizing tools and equipment, including safety equipment
  • Perform general warehouse duties
  • General cleanup of the warehouse area
  • Assisting in loading and unloading trucks with tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:  

  • Commitment to safety

  • HVAC industry background preferable
  • Proficient in the Microsoft platform (Outlook, Excel, Word. etc)
  • DOT Medical Card
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification preferable
  • Geographical aptitude
