School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

Qualifications for SLP:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Previous experience in educational settings preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications for SLPA:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or equivalent
• Valid Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
• Previous experience in educational or clinical settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students of varying ages and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP (for SLPA)
• Collaborate closely with licensed SLPs, educators, parents, and professionals to support students' communication development
• Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Regularly assess progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary
