We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced High School Spanish Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year at our school in Cheraw, SC. Job Description: As a High School Spanish Teacher at Soliant Education, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students to develop proficiency in the Spanish language and appreciation for Hispanic culture. You will create an immersive learning environment that promotes language acquisition, cultural understanding, and global awareness. We are seeking a passionate educator who is dedicated to helping students become confident and competent Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards and promote language acquisition
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including immersion techniques, to facilitate language learning
• Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom culture where all students feel encouraged to participate and take risks in their language development
• Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to support growth and proficiency
• Integrate cultural elements into lessons to foster appreciation for Hispanic culture and traditions
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and enrichment activities that incorporate Spanish language and culture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification in Spanish (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Proficiency in Spanish language and strong knowledge of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and culture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development
