Job Description:

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position offers an excellent opportunity to positively influence students' communication abilities through dedicated and effective speech and language therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed assessments to identify and evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized education programs (IEPs) to address individual communication challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to monitor and support student progress.
  • Keep thorough records of therapy sessions and student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as required.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations based on evaluations.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in speech-language pathology to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the Arizona Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (or eligibility for certification).
  • Preferred experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, and collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
