School Psychologist (Fredericksburg, VA)

Are you a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of K-12 students? We are currently seeking a licensed School Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Fredericksburg, VA. This position is full-time, requiring 37.5 hours per week, and will involve conducting evaluations and assessments for students at our school.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students in K-12 to identify learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support to students to address emotional and social challenges.
  • Utilize data and research to inform decision-making and intervention implementation.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid and current School Psychologist license in the state of Virginia.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in conducting a wide range of evaluations and assessments to support educational planning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
  • A passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
