School Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN)
Location: Methuen, Massachusetts
Position Type: Full-time, 37.5hours per week
About Us:We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our students in the 3rd-8th grade. If you are a skilled healthcare professional with a passion for supporting student health, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Administering medication to students as prescribed and ensuring compliance with school district policies and state regulations.
- Providing first aid and attending to the health needs of 3rd-8th grade students during school hours.
- Conducting health screenings and assessments to identify and address any health concerns among students.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student health records, including immunization records and medical histories.
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and healthy school environment.
Benefits:
- Fulltime W-2
- Benefits including: health, dental, vision
- Hourly Rate $40-50+ (based on experience)
