Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW/EOH, no call
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
  • SD License
  • 1.5 years general nursing experience
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing;  Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
Other details:
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience
  • Travelers must live 100 miles away
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing;  Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
  • PCU level RN
  • Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine) – please request manager approval if traveler does not have this, Heparin gtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration (preferred)
  • Floating: Primarily to our sister unit, General PCU – as needed
  • Floating: Could also be floated to MS/Tele or ICU to care for PCU level patients
  • Floating: Could be floated within scope of practice and below
