Soliant Health is partnering with a reputable school district in Machesney Park, IL, to fill an Occupational Therapist (OT) position for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and provide exceptional occupational therapy services to students.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Onsite position: Candidates must be available to work at the school district in Machesney Park, IL.
  • Contract duration: The position will be for the duration of the upcoming school year.
  • Caseload: The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for both the OT and the students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, incorporating evidence-based techniques and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and educational success.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Valid license or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various occupational therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
