As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) on our team, you will work with colleagues to develop and deploy the next generation of Overhead Persistent Infrared Radar cyber security capabilities to deliver critical information to our warfighters to quickly win or even prevent future wars. Your client will trust you to help establish, document, and monitor multiple ground system enclaves from Unclassified through Top Secret. You will lead and support cyber accrediting activities, authority to connect, and security impact assessments. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats and using innovative integration methodologies and tools to integrate remote sensing systems to deliver warfighter capabilities.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Security or Cybersecurity
  • 1+ years of experience as an ISSO or ISSM delivering information assurance or Cybersecurity support
  • Experience with successfully interfacing with internal and external customers, including ISSM, SCA, or Program Manager
  • Knowledge of system security and authorization approval processes
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, or Intelligence Community Directive 503 requirements
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+, CySA+, or DoD 8140 Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with providing network, system administration, or computer operations support
  • Experience with Open RMF, Xacta, eMASS, ACAS, SteelCloud, ELK, and vulnerability databases, including Tenable Nessus
  • Experience with supporting the intelligence community, Air Force, or Space Force cyber security programs
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies
  • CASP+, CISSP, or CISM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
