Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' sensory, motor, and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Develop and adapt strategies and activities to address sensory processing, fine motor skills, and functional abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Oregon state license/certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sensory processing disorders and effective intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
