Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives? Soliant is seeking a School Special Education Teacher to join our team in Las Vegas, NV and surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide direct instruction and support in various academic subjects and life skills development
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure inclusion and appropriate accommodations/modifications for students
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor students' progress and make necessary adjustments to instruction
  • Utilize assistive technology and specialized resources to enhance students' learning experience
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and educational goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Nevada Special Education teaching certification or eligibility
  • Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support students with diverse learning needs
