Are you a skilled and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse seeking an opportunity to explore new places while providing exceptional patient care? Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Travel Telemetry RN to join our team for an exciting assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Travel Telemetry RN, you'll have the opportunity to deliver quality care to patients while experiencing the rich history, vibrant culture, and Southern charm of Columbia. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry data, and administering medications as prescribed.
- Perform thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to recognize changes in patients' conditions and respond promptly to emergent situations, including initiating appropriate interventions and communicating effectively with healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in South Carolina (or compact state) with at least two years of recent Telemetry experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, patient needs, and unit dynamics.
