Minimum 1+ years physical therapy experience required.

Soliant is working with a school in the area of Olympia, WA, and is seeking a contract Physical Therapist to work with a mid-sized school district for the upcoming school year.

Candidates will be supervising a Physical Therapy Assistant, and working with K-12 students with a range of needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating students and the extent to which their disabilities or health conditionshindertheir abilityto navigate the school environment
  • Reporting on findings, and proposing appropriate goals as part of a student's Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  • Recommend equipment if needed, and ensuring that equipment is adjusted to fit and operate smoothly
  • Provide physical therapy in accordance with student IEPs
  • Consult with staff and parents on additional support in the classroom or at home
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation in accordance with District or State guidelines

Requirements:

  • Washington Physical Therapist license
