What You Need to Know:TeamPhysician – Associate Medical DirectorResponsibilities
- The Team Physician – Associate MedicalDirector will partner with the interdisciplinary care team and be astrong leader in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings to ensurethat a care plan is in place, that a patient’s needs are wellanticipated, and that all regulatory requirements aremet.
- Committed to each patient’s experience, TeamPhysicians are required to participate in in-person visits andvirtual visits when appropriate. Documentation of visits isrequired to ensure that all patients have access to their benefits.
- Our Team Physician willparticipate in a Call Coverage Rotation to ensure any needs thathave not been anticipated during IDG are met and to serve thosenewly admitted.
- TheAccentCare Medical Group expectation is that the Hospice TeamPhysician will exemplify what it means to be part of a Care Teamand will lead learning initiatives with the Interdisciplinary Teamand the community around end-of-lifeissues.
Maintains an active Licenseand DEA in the state where care is beingprovided.
