Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will focus on managing the production of marketing collateral and supporting creative projects across various brand assets. You will work closely with Marketing Managers, Sales, and Senior Designers to execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in design tools and creative systems, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills.

 

Location: Remote (CST preferred but not required)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time (flexible)

Contract Duration: 3 months (with the possibility of extension to 6 months or permanent position depending on performance and project needs)

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Production: Design and produce marketing-related collateral such as brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, email campaigns, presentations, signage, banners, interactive design, and other related assets.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure the continuity of individual brand identities across global platforms, working closely with the Marketing department to align with company direction.

  • Project Management: Manage design projects from inception to completion, including brainstorming creative concepts, designing original content, and overseeing the final production process. Meet deadlines and stay within project budgets.

  • Vendor Communication: Work with vendors to ensure quality production and the timely delivery of printed materials and other assets. Maintain vendor relationships and handle quotes.

  • Digital Asset Management (DAM): Manage the Digital Asset Management system, update and organize files, create new assets, and train team members on DAM tools.

  • Creative Tools and Software: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to create high-quality digital assets and designs for various marketing materials.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design, digital content, and marketing.

  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Marketing Managers, Directors, and Senior Designers to ensure project goals are met. Take direction well and maintain an open line of communication regarding project updates and needs.

  • Self-Management: Work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Be proactive, organized, and capable of self-directing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Required Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in graphic design (internship or professional). Vendor management experience required.

  • Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
    • Experience with cloud-based marketing software and Google Platform is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Must be comfortable taking directions via phone and email.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
