Primary purpose is to support the Director and perform the duties of an academic advisor, provide academic advising, planning and other support for student-athletes in other areas of course selection, registration procedures, degree requirements and career goals. Perform other duties as assigned.Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with academics in college athletics environment is strongly preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to work with a diverse student-athlete population and communicate effectively with students, professors, peers and parents. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
