Blazerjobs is seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming school year in Madera, CA. This full-time position will primarily involve working with elementary school students, with some responsibilities extending to middle school students. The ideal candidate must have experience with the Special Education Information Systemand be comfortable with remote assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students.
- Conduct remote assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
- Utilize SEIS for documentation, reporting, and managing student information.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in virtual meetings, consultations, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
- Licensed or certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
- Experience in conducting remote assessments and delivering virtual therapy.
- Prior experience working with elementary and middle school students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
