Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

Calling on Clinical Fellows and ASHA-certified SLPs based in metro Portland, OR, and who are passionate about working with "the littles" (children aged 3-5). Soliant is working with a small, local school district and is scheduling interviews for the upcoming school year.

Additional details about the Early Childhood program will be shared in an interview with the speech co-ordinator.

Duties include:

  • Providingspeech and/or language therapyto students identified with communication disorders.
  • Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
  • Evaluatingstudentswith suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
  • Providingcomprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
  • Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
  • Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
  • Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
  • Participatingin the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.
