Job Description:

Currently, we’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Hampshire, Illinois. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you’ll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

  • $49 – $52.50 an hour
  • $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
  • 2024-2025 School Year
  • Full-time Monday-Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week
  • 3 days/week in Early Childhood Autism program
  • 2 days/week in K-5 elementary school
  • Location: Wauconda, IL
  • SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
  • SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
  • Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • Illinois SLP License
  • Required licensure: IL State License (IDFPR) and PEL from ISBE
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • School Experience is Preferred but not required
  • ASHA Certification
