As a Math Teacher, you will have the chance to inspire a love for mathematics and empower students to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and rigorous math curriculum aligned with state standards and district expectations.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to differentiate instruction and meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Assess student understanding and progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance instructional practices and promote student success.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress, performance, and academic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Michigan teaching certification with endorsement in secondary mathematics or eligibility for certification.
  • Previous experience teaching math at the high school level preferred.
  • Strong content knowledge in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  • Passion for math education and commitment to fostering student success.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
