Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota is seeking an experienced PA in Cardiac Surgery to join its team. Here are some more details below:
- Experience of 1+ years (preferably from a busy practice)
- Surgical 1st. assist in cardiac
- Duties include endoscopic vein harvesting and endoscopic radial artery harvesting, insert/remove chest tubes, IABP removal, 1st assist with operative cases including CABG, AVR/MVR, Aortic aneurysm repair, Aortic dissection, ECMO cannulation. Robotic assisted and minimally invasive valve surgeries, empyema and pneumothorax management.
- Outstanding working relationship between physicians and APPs
- Support from a full range of specialists
- Increased autonomy
- System-wide EPIC EMR
Professional Skills:
- Graduate of accredited PA program
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ideal candidate would have cardiac surgical experience, however, other candidates with surgical experience will be considered. Will also consider new graduates with cardiac surgery elective and supporting recommendations.
- Current ACLS certification
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
